Big guns were kept apart in the 2016 Nedbank Cup last 16 draw that took place at the Carlton Centre in Johannesburg yesterday afternoon.

Defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns continue their title defence at home to Mbombela United who reached the last 16 with an emphatic 4-0 win over minnows Sibanye Golden Stars.

Orlando Pirates who eliminated Kaizer Chiefs find themselves with a tricky away match against Jomo Cosmos  who recently shocked the Bucs in a league match.

The draw also produced a Tshwane derby in which SuperSport United welcome their city rivals University of Pretoria who thrashed Polokwane City Rovers 5-0 in the last 32.

Golden Arrows face a difficult task at home as they host giant killers Baroka who eliminated Chippa United in a five-goal thriller played at the Buffalo City Stadium.
