HIGHLANDERS have officially declared their league title bid with the technical team boldly declaring at a press conference that beginning with the Dynamos match on Sunday, they are not looking at dropping any more points.
Head coach Erol Akbay said with six points separating them with leaders FC Platinum, the ultimate prize was well within reach.
“We can’t make any mistake now, beginning with the Sunday game. We have 24 points to play for and we must get them and if we do that anything is possible. If you look at the top sides, they are not picking up points, not winning. Its all systems go now,” said Akbay.
Speaking at the same event, veteran goalkeepers’ coach Cosmos Tsano Zulu said it’s a naked truth that Bosso can win the title.
“We can win this thing (title) and that road begins on Sunday, a draw for us is not an option,” said Zulu.
Bosso declared a clean bill of health with all the players available save for Benson Phiri who is still out with an injury.
The match, code named Operation Double or Revenge will be beamed live on Supersport 9 channel.
